Diesel led the falls in metro Perth, shedding 10.8c to 199.8 c/L. That's a meaningful saving for tradies and anyone running a diesel vehicle, though the premium over U91 metro still sits at a hefty 31.9c, so petrol cars hold a clear cost advantage right now.

U91 had an interesting week in the daily data. Prices crept up from 168.1c on Monday to a mid-week peak of 172.6c on Wednesday before reversing sharply. By Sunday they'd fallen all the way to 164.1c, the week's low. Rural U91 followed a similar arc but with none of the relief, climbing from 188.5c to above 200c by Wednesday and staying there.

P95 and P98 both dropped just over 9c in metro, tracking closely with U91's movement. Rural P95 edged down 2.1c, while rural P98 barely moved, off just 0.9c. LPG was the quiet outlier, essentially flat across the week at 152.4c metro, making it the cheapest fuel type available in WA by a clear margin.
