Each fill stores the station, the fuel, the litres, the price you paid and the odometer reading. Nothing else is typed.

Station, fuel type, litres, the price you paid and the odometer reading at the pump. The total is worked out for you.
Fuel economy per fill
Litres per 100 kilometres for that tank, from the distance since your last fill, plus a rolling average across the range you are looking at.
Compared with the average
Each fill is compared with the current average for that fuel where you filled up, so a row can show what that stop saved or cost you.
Scan the receipt
In the iPhone and Android apps, photograph the receipt at the bowser and the entry fills itself in. The photo stays attached to the entry and private to your account.
Added from the map
Open a station on the price page and add a fill with the station, the fuel and the price already filled in.
Bring your history in, take it out
Import a CSV from another app and match up the columns, with a preview before anything is saved. Export every entry as a CSV whenever you want.

After the second fill there is a distance to work with, and fuel economy, cost per kilometre and the saved-against-average figure appear.
The logbook counts the fuel. Trips count the kilometres.
In Australia, automatic trip tracking records each drive on its own and asks whether it was for work. Confirmed business kilometres are totalled at the Australian Taxation Office rate for the financial year, and tracked against the limit that applies to each car.
