Diesel's 25c metro drop is the standout figure. It opened the week at 262.7 c/L on Monday and trended steadily downward, reaching 253 c/L by Saturday before a slight uptick to 253.4 c/L on Sunday. No mid-week spikes, just a clean, consistent slide.

Metro U91 told a similar story, drifting from 184.4 c/L on Monday down to 180.5 c/L on Saturday before a fractional rise to 180.9 c/L on Sunday. This marks four consecutive weeks of falling metro U91 prices in Victoria, a run that's genuinely easing the pressure for regular drivers.

E10 remains the cheapest option for compatible cars at 179.5 c/L metro, a full 2.8c below U91. P95 and P98 both followed the broader downward trend, with P95 slipping below 200 c/L to land at 197.3 c/L metro by week's end.
