E10 was the standout performer, shedding 15.7c in metro areas to reach 202.1 c/L. It's now well clear of U91 as the cheapest option, and with 31 metro stations stocking it, it's worth a search if your car is compatible.

U91 followed closely, falling 14.3c to 207.9 c/L in metro and 10.2c to 225.0 c/L in regional SA. The metro price is currently sitting near the lower end of its 30-day range of 188.7c to 274.9c, which means conditions are genuinely favourable right now. That 17.1c gap between city and country is real money over a full tank — regional drivers are paying roughly $8 to $10 more per fill compared to Adelaide.

P95 and P98 both shed around 14c in metro, closing the week at 224.1 c/L and 232.9 c/L respectively. Even premium grades are looking more manageable than they have in weeks.

Diesel pulled back 9.7c in metro to 310.3 c/L, though it still carries a premium of 102.4c over U91 — an unusually wide gap that tradies and fleet operators will feel.

Intra-week, the pattern was a steady, consistent slide from Monday through to Sunday with no mid-week reversals. Metro U91 opened at 219.1c on Monday the 13th and closed at 197.3c by Sunday the 19th. That's a clean 21.8c drop across just seven days.

SA Station Price Range and Brand Comparisons

There's a massive spread across metro Adelaide right now. The cheapest metro station was at 188.7 c/L and the priciest at 274.9 c/L, an 86.2c difference. Choosing where you fill up matters more than almost anything else you can do.

On brand averages, U-Go and Mobil both came in at 204.6c for U91, while SOLO averaged 204.9c. At the other end, Independent stations averaged 220.3c and BP averaged 218.6c. That's a 15.7c spread between the cheapest and priciest brands — over a 60-litre tank, you're looking at roughly $9 in difference.

Metro U91 is expected to tick up slightly from its current 207.9 c/L. The three-day outlook sits at 201.7 c/L on Monday the 20th, rising to 206.3 c/L on Tuesday and 208.3 c/L by Wednesday. Confidence drops from 77% to 61% as the window extends, so treat the Wednesday figure as a rough guide rather than a certainty.

SA is currently 2.1c below the national metro U91 average of 210.0 c/L, which is a decent position to be in relative to most of the country.
